More About Ayalim

 The Ayalim Association believes that bringing students to settle in the Negev and the Galilee is a national undertaking of supreme importance. The association provides incentives such as scholarships and subsidized housing to encourage students to settle in such areas. After a period of living in the periphery, the association believes that students will become attached to the area and its people and choose to build their lives in the Negev. The association also works together with the Prime Minister's office and the office of the Vice Prime Minister to promote incentives for graduates of the project who wish to remain in the Negev and the Galilee.

The goals of the Ayalim Association are threefold:
1. To bolster the settlement map in the Negev and Galilee while giving priority to strengthening existing settlements.
2. To educate toward Zionist goals, mutual assistance, and solidarity in Israeli society.
3. To foster changes that can help peripheral regions in the Negev and the Galilee escape the poverty and neglect that they have endured during past decades
