War Emergency Project

Responding to the needs of the wounded Israeli citizens in the North in 2006, Merage Foundations Israel launched its War Emergency Project under advisement of the emergency officials. In cooperation and partnership with the National Social Security and local hospitals, the foundation established a network of volunteers to provide direct support to the wounded in hospitals, medical equipment and home appliances, physical and emotional rehabilitation services, income supplements, and care packages. In total, Merage Foundations Israel and its partners - Institute of National Social Security, Rambam Hospital, Ziv Hospital, Naharia Hospital and municipality welfare chambers - helped 850 citizens affected by the war.
