Merage Foundations - Negev, where dreams come true

Youth Programs

Designed to support the self-empowerment and successful integration of Iranian teenagers into Israel society, Merage Foundation youth programs are held in Jerusalem and Ashdod. These groups of 15 – 17 year old students meet on a regular basis, share experience and information, and engage in fun activities and stimulating discussions. Through these connections and an established program, teenagers are getting to know the Israeli culture better while maintaining their sense of belonging and reverence to their Iranian heritage. As they grow during their participation in the program, these students are developing a sense of individual and social responsibility, personal skills vital to success in life, and the critical preparation for their next stages in life which they wouldn’t otherwise be able to access.

Zinuk BaAliya “Springboard” is another youth immigrant program that Merage Foundations Israel sponsors with the JDC. This program focuses on reaching out to new immigrant high school students, soldiers and parents to provide resources and guidance to ease transition into army service.
