Professional Development Program

Since 2001, Merage Foundations Israel has been supporting professional development programs for new Iranian immigrants in partnership with MATI Holon, JDC, the Ministry of Absorption and others. The program provides opportunities to become independent and productive citizens of Israel by gaining valuable professional skills through participation in special employment training. In addition, the placement process helps immigrants secure good jobs, upgrading the family income and expanding current and future opportunities for all. Activities include professional workshops, individual tutoring and specific courses. Other services include consultation and tutoring of existing small businesses, vocational training for men and women, individual tutoring for up to one year after program graduation and personal coaching to retain and attract important positions.
