Established in 1999, the Iranian Immigrant Emergency Fund responds to individual emergency needs in the field of health and welfare. During the nearly ten years since it was founded, hundreds of people have benefited from Merage support and generosity.
Assistance has included cases such as supplying hearing aids, providing resources for families with autistic children, and assisting those with disabilities. The foundation also supports elderly immigrants with no income, those having financial difficulties around the holidays, and once provided burial services for an Iranian immigrant with no family in Israel. This program emphasizes the Merage dedication to Iranian immigrants and its willingness to help in the greatest times of need.
