Bicycles Centers

The Negev`s relative advantage is its wild nature, the open spaces and the comfortable climate in seasons where other regions are cold, making it perfect for bringing local and incoming tourism to the region.

The Merage Foundation promotes an overall plan for cycling routes and centers in the Negev together with the Negev Development Authority,  representatives from the ministry of tourism, agriculture and rural development office, JNF, nature and garden authority and representative of the cross-Israel bicycle path. The work is done with full cooperation of the local municipality, proprietors and volunteers.

This project will combine cycling paths and a cyclists support centers. The centers will offer guidance, renting options, food and equipment shopping services. The centers will be operated by private proprietors under the guidance of the financial units in the area cities.
