Young Entrepreneurs Course

The Merage Foundation - Israel has the promotion of entrepreneurship and financial development in the Negev as a main goal. The Young Entrepreneur's Course is a unique program developed by the Merage Foundation - Israel which provides the young entrepreneur the personal and professional means needed to establish a business. The program consists of an annual entrepreneurship course, meetings with different financial bodies and other entrepreneurs operating in the area, and personal guidance for each student tailored to an individual path for creating a business, in every aspect (personal, financial, marketing, etc.). The program is intended for students, interested in establishing an independent business in the Negev. The students are carefully chosen and tested for their level of commitment and the promotion of their enterprises. With the proper guidance, these students create the work process and, finally, their own business plan.

In 2009, 25 students took part in the course, each with his own project. The group is a hotbed for debate, exchanges of ideas, and a base for testing the different projects and receiving the assistance needed at each step along the way.
